READ ABOUT US AND WHAT WE DO

The Evesham Decorative and Fine Arts Society or 'EDFAS' is a member society of The Arts Society.

We hold lectures in the evening each month throughout the year with the exception of March, July and August. Click on 'Lectures' below for the lecture dates. The venue is the Evesham Arts Centre, Prince Henry's School, Victoria Road, Evesham WR11 4QH. Coffee and drinks are available to purchase from 7 pm and lectures start at 8 pm.

Each year we allocate funding in support of art-related activities in partnership with our local schools in order to inspire as many students as possible with a lasting enthusiasm for the arts and an awareness of arts heritage and its conservation - "Young Arts".

We arrange visits to places of historic and cultural interest, many not normally open to the public, as well as Special Interest Days.

We have a Church Recorders' group which produces detailed records of the contents of places of worship.

We run a team of Heritage Volunteers who undertake conservation work.

Select from the menu below for more information.
